The Gastineau Channel has continued to receive fresh silvers, coated in sea lice and unset scales. The numbers of fish we have seen in the last week leads us to think that the fishing is not dropping off anytime soon. And, the weather looks like it is going to hold for us through the weekend (because, a little rain never hurt anyone, right?). The tides are good morning and evening tides to fish, with bracketing the low in mind. The silvers seem to be schooling around, so when youre in them, youre in them, and when youre not, youre not, dont hesitate to walk around the beach lines a bit!
We have seen good luck using big, heavy, flashy flies such as the Megawatt, Mega Clouser Minnow, Dolly Llama, Starlite Leech, and Flash Fly. Popular colors are the pink/white, chartreuse/white, black/white variety, with some tutti fruiti and all white supplemented in. If you have not caught a bite in a while, try changing up your fly a bit, especially after hooking a fish on one- variety usually pays off.
The creek levels look like they will hold at fish-able levels throughout the weekend, so if you cannot hit a morning tide, head to a creek in the afternoon (or fish both)! Try flies such as the Jig Spanker, Dolly Llama, Hareball leech, and LE Egg Sucking Leech in colors 
such as pink/purple, black/white, fuchsia, blue, chartreuse, and purple. Again, don't be afraid to change your fly often. If you are swinging through some rather fishy looking water without any strikes, try changing it up- normally the results are good.
